What it does​

• Real listings. Photos, price, condition, location, custom fields per category, and an urgent flag.
• Private negotiation. Members make and counter offers without leaving the forum, so haggling stays out of the public thread.
• Reputation that means something. Both sides rate each other after a deal, whether it went through an offer or the seller simply marked it sold and named the buyer. Scores are broken down by whether someone was the seller or the buyer, and you award certified seller badges yourself.
• A price history. Every closed listing records what it went for, so members can see what comparable items sell for instead of guessing from asking prices.
• Bumping, with a leash. Members lift their own listing back to the top once per cooldown you set, and the listing shows when that last happened.
• Saved searches. A member describes what they want once, and hears about it when a matching listing appears.
• Favourites with price drop and sold alerts.
• Near me. Optional geolocation, so buyers find what is close to them.
• Pro shops for members who sell regularly, and optional paid featured listings if you monetise.
• Control that scales. Per-category permissions, per user group limits, moderator logging, and native XenForo design throughout.

New in 1.3.1​

• Categories decide what they accept. Name the kinds of listing a category takes and a Wanted advert can no longer land in your For Sale section. The form narrows the moment a category is chosen, the server holds the same line, and a category that names nothing behaves exactly as before.
• View listings by others. XenForo's forum permission, in the vocabulary of a marketplace. Revoke it in a category and a member sees their own listings there and nobody else's, on every surface: browse, search, the map, the member profile, the price history. Derived from your existing view grant, so nothing starts hiding on upgrade.
• Withdraw a seller who is no longer eligible. Optional. A membership lapses and the listings it paid for leave the marketplace as Withdrawn instead of sitting there: the record survives, no sale is invented, and the seller puts them back once they qualify again. Read from effective permissions, so a second group that grants selling keeps its listings.
• A rebuilt posting form. Three sections instead of one long column, price and currency on one line, photos before the price, and a live preview beside it showing the card exactly as the marketplace will draw it.
• Saved searches you can rename and re-aim. Change the filters, press update, and the search follows. Twenty five fixes come with it, including custom field criteria that now survive being saved.

Added in 1.2.0​

• Sub categories. One level deep, with permissions inheriting from parent to child exactly as a forum inherits from the category above it.
• Custom fields shared across categories. Create a field once, tick every category that needs it, and change its choices in one place. A Clone action covers the variants.
• Copy permissions between user groups. Set one paid tier up properly, then copy it to the others in a single step, with a preview of what it will overwrite.
• A default currency you choose, and a sale price that can be left unrecorded or kept private between the seller and their buyer.
